We seek to accelerate the development of biotechnology-based products and services at the scaling stage.

The Center for Translational Biotechnology (CBT) is a technology center supported by ANID/CORFO, that is a part of SOFOFA Hub and which seeks to promote the development of biotechnology from the private world, generating enabling conditions that allow the development of the biotechnology industry in Chile, increasing diversification and business adoption.

In this context, the CBT is issuing an open call through the 2022 Biotech Hemisphere, for scientific and technology-based projects focused on biotechnology that are in the optimization and scaling phase. This body seeks to accelerate the development of biotechnology-based products and services that are near the translational stage, generating capacities and knowledge for scaling in the national science and technology ecosystem.
